This watch is based on the Datejust with Arabic numerals. Rolex was one of the first luxury watch brands to produce watches with Arabic numerals back in the 1950s. They continued producing these for the Middle Eastern markets until the late 1970s. 

It wasn't until 2016 that Rolex reintroduced the dials with Arabic numerals. First for the Day Date, which was shortly after followed by the Datejust and the Daytona. In recent years the dials with Arabic numerals have become quite popular. Various brands (e.g., Breitling, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre, IWC) have started producing dials with Arabic numerals. 

Watches with Arabic numerals have been featured on the wrists of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jay-Z, Drake, DJ Khaled, Tom Brady and Mark Wahlberg.
